Calling all anglers! The City Toyota Fishing Zone offers visitors a range of fishing tackle, fishing boats, tow vehicles, and other fishing related products and services to browse and buy.
The Fishing Zone will feature two big stage areas: The Engel Aquatank Fishing Stage with have regular fishing demonstrations in the Aquatank, plus all the latest on lures and gear. The new Engel / Halco Fishing Stage will feature presenters including Scott Coghlan (Western Angler magazine), Jamie Chester, Karl Langdon (6PR) and more. There will be demonstrations on fishing techniques, fish filleting and cooking, and plenty of travel info and advice.
Tow vehicles
Selecting the right tow vehicle is vitally important to your safety and to the safety of other road users.
The team from City Toyota will be at the Perth Boat Show to help visitors make the right choice on which vehicle suits their needs when it comes to towing their boat.
City Toyota are proud sponsors of the new City Toyota Fishing Zone and will have a selection of vehicles on show this year, as well as all the info you need on vehicle specifications relating to towing.

Engel Aquatank Fishing Stage
If you’ve never seen the Aquatank Fishing Show before, prepare to be amazed!
The Aquatank, one of the world’s largest mobile aquariums, is one of only two of its kind in Australia. The tank is over 40ft long, contains 14,000 litres of water and weighs in at an impressive 19 tonnes when it’s full of water and fish. It is impressive enough just to look at and attracts attention wherever it goes.
The Aquatank is used to demonstrate fishing techniques and relevant fishing products. Presenters at the tank will demonstrate first-hand how to catch fish with lures and how lures work underwater. Regular presentations demonstrate how different lures work and how different species can be targeted. Barbless lures are used so the fish are not harmed.
The tank is very entertaining, even for those who are not that into fishing! It gives the audience a new-found dimension to their fishing knowledge – plus is an entertaining and informative show for audiences of all ages.
At the Club Marine Perth Boat Show, the Aquatank Fishing Stage will be used by local anglers and well-known content creators who will give their best fishing tips. There will also be info on the latest Halco lures, and demos and tips on how to land your next big catch!

Hosted by Karl Langdon, an avid fisherman and host of 6PRs Boat, Dive and Fishing Show, the stage will feature presenters including Western Angler Magazine’s Scott Coghlan and Jamie Chester, and well-known chef Dale Sniffen, plus other special guests.
Scott Coghlan is one of Western Australia’s most knowledgeable anglers, having travelled the world extensively to catch fish, and then share his knowledge through Western Angler magazine and his regular columns in The Sunday Times. Scott is a huge fan of inshore sportfishing and also enjoys a bit of kayak fishing. He also loves to talk and will have plenty of stories to share!
Jamie Chester is a qualified marine biologist and has been writing for Western Angler since he was a teenager. He is a keen offshore angler who likes to target demersals off Perth. Jamie can tell you everything you need to know about different species you can catch in WA, so come and have chat.
A keen angler who likes to catch a fresh feed of seafood, Dale Sniffen is a freelance chef and has his own website at www.chefdale.com Dale will be part of the line-up at the new Fishing Zone, and will show audiences easy fish filleting techniques, and will then do a cook up on stage.
